Fae Wiedenhoeft (pronounced Wee-den-hauft) travels the globe singing a potion of Original Folk, Celtic, Mermaid/Viking/Nature music that rocks like a gale and woos like a summer breeze.

 She sets sail solo and with her Seattle band, SeaStar, bringing authentic and warm performances that make it as if she is singing just to you. Her award winning songs are a beautiful escape from the ordinary, tangling truth and whimsy with the magic of folklore, theatre, and coastal landscapes of the West Coast.  

Fae is also a music teacher, who helps students find their voice and uplift their heart through music. And Fae is a visual artist who, through the lines of an ink pen, creates worlds that coexisit with the music that she dreams.

When a prominent figure skater fell twice during their performance in the free skate at the 2026 Winter Olympics, there was a crazy amount of press about how they didn't live up to the expectations of the media, sports writers, etc. Folks were so insensitive. The pressure, the push, the hustle ....

The words... "Sometimes you fall Sometimes you fall again Sometimes you fall...." just poured out. And then I wrote this song.

We are pushed to do everything in a certain way, to have it all figured out, to work insanely hard.

Sometimes the fall of not achieving whatever goal or expectation can be completely overwhelming.

This is a reminder that it’s okay to not be okay.
